meet prince charming.

26/12/08 (Friday)

My dear sis dragged me to KLCC to watch a movie. She INSISTED that we watch the movie WITHOUT my mum. Okay, I know it sounds mean but I can see why.

ANGUS, THONGS and PERFECT SNOGGING.

I know that sounds kindda wrong. The story line wasn't anything that great but it was definitely a good laugh. Mostly immature stuff.

It's a really girly movie, and there's this really really really cute/charming guy. Seriously, I would say he's the cutest guy I have ever seen in my 17 years alive O.O I am not exaggerating :)

I don't mean to sound sexist. I don't really have a problem with guys watching the movie, your choice. But I highly doubt it looking at the way Erwan reacted towards the Wild Child movie. HAHAHAHA. I'm sorry :) I knew it was too girly for you!

AARON JOHNSON; 18 year old British actor.

This pic doesn't do much justice to his good looks.

But this does.....

Ultraviolet by the Stiff Dylans.

Trust me, he's worth the time :) Hehehehe. You can shoot me if you think he's hideous. And that has to be A GIRL's opinion XD

------------

27/12/08 (Saturday)

Had the 6 hour amali course at kayu ara again today. And for some reason it was so freaking hot. The sun was literally burning my skin. We had to stand there and watch them demonstrate the 3 point turn, parking and stuff. Oh god! It was such a torture cause I felt so dizzy after we got in. Somehow, the assigned all the chinese students to attend the course in mandarin/cantonese. Funny? I didn't know there was such a thing.

Mamma Mia awaits!

p.s. I just realised I have been missing a leaving school certificate. No one seems to have it tho. So does that still make us a student there XD

Against All Odds.

I haven't been blogging recently. The reason is, nothing much has been going on. I did miss a farewell party. For some reason. Everyone is on a holiday. I'm really envious but I can't complain. Well, to be fair, I went on a 1 week holiday at London during September right before trials.

I am moving into my new house next Wednesday, New Year's Eve. I won't let it get in the way of doing something different for a change this year. Countdown sounds good. I haven't been to one, sadly. Parents being paranoid as usual. I can understand and I don't blame them. If I were in their shoes, I would have done the same.

I can't seem to recall what I have been doing for the past one week. It feels as if I've been doing the same thing everyday. Furniture shopping? How dull. And it is so frustrating to hear your parents arguing over petty issues or causing all the unnecessary trouble.

I picked up one habit, READING. As bizarre as it sounds, yes, I have been reading continuously since a few days ago. I read New Moon and I'm currently reading Twilight. I can't seem to find Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Apparently, it's sold out everywhere. That sucks. It's like I am addicted to the book for some reason. Can't really get enough of it. Maybe it's just Edward Cullen. Not very convincing to fall for a fictional character, is it?

Rachel must be proud. If only my english was as great as hers. Sigh. Honestly, I think I did learn a few bombastic words from her like

.......Piffle....?.....Jejune....?

I never would have come across those words if it wasn't for her.

-------------

And with the whole college issue, I am proud to say that I have finally made up my mind. I will take maths, chemistry, physics (ughh) and econs for A Levels. I know I told many of you I wouldn't do anything related to science. Please spare me, I don't want to explain. Physics is going to be horrible. Screw all the laws, principles, and concepts.

I haven't registered yet. I'll get it done soon tho. The hint is, I wouldn't be seeing most you anymore. I'm guessing you should know where I'll be going to. Yes? But I believe you'll know soon enough.

After 1 week of serious consideration, I wouldn't second guess my decision anymore. I did ask for opinions from different people, and I'm sorry to say, I think I'm defying all of the advices. Forgive me alright?

Mamma Mia is this Sunday :) Finally!

p.s. Have a great christmas eve! and Rachel is going to getting me something from HK :)

everything.

14/12/08 (Sunday)

Decided to go college hunting instead of going to Jun Kit's house. Missed the movie marathon. Sorry guys!

1st stop was Taylors Hartamas. Kindda got lost cause I don't really go around there. But I still managed to find my way there. Everything there is so new. Looks more like a office from the outside. In my opinion, it's really small and it feels so cempaka. wtf.

Then, I went to Sunway college. Quite a big campus. I like the place. There's Sunway Pyramid and stuff. The subjects they offer is similar to Taylors.

Taylors or Sunway? I can't decide, damn it!

16/12/08 (Tuesday)

Went to BSC for Jun Kit's surprise bday at Alexis. So we were talking back about prom night, the after party. Hmm. Let's just end it there :) Anyways, credits to Rachel for organising! There was about 13 of us and the bill turned out to be RM 399.95. Awesome stuff. Service charge was like wow.

Went down to the christmas hall after dinner. It really does bring back all the memories.

Jun Kit and I then went to Telawi street, D'Haven. I'm sure you know for what la. Hahahaha. Thanks for paying, Jun Kit! I owe you one now :)

p.s. Happy Belated birthday Quang!

hmm, I like your black fingernails.

the first step.

Had to wake up at 6.15am today and I slept around 2am. That sucks. It felt as if I was going back to school.

Reached Pudu about 7.20am and people were coming one by one. Mind you, I went alone. I was expecting a boring/lifeless day. But it wasn't that bad cause I met this girl, Kathleen. We clicked pretty well, considering we have never met before.

Then, we came to this place at Kayu Ara, Damansara for the Undang kursus. The class looks as if it was made out of huge containers. Unbelievable. And when someone anorexic/slim/fat WALKS, the whole class shakes.

see what I told you?

We waited for 2 hours before the class started. wtf. I was so hungry and sleepy. I don't think we did much cause we spent half our time watching silly and funny clips. So you tell me.

Had our lunch break at 12pm. Kathleen and I went to eat at the mamak and went back to the class for our afternoon nap. I seriously fell asleep there. I guess I was pretty much desperate for sleep.

Class ended about 3pm. And it was pouring outside. How unlucky. The make things worse, we had to run in the rain. We were both drenched, from top to toe.

Finally, we decided to go to Great Eastern to eat again. There were some interesting christmas performances. Andy was singing there, but I didn't notice. I am sorry! :)

Kathleen and I :)

That's all, good night!

birthday wishes.

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY, JUN KIT!

BSC (2007)

You're finally one year older now. Yes, that means you can get your driving license and drive your Merc. May all your wishes come true and I hope you had a great birthday.

Hmm.. I can't seem to remember when we actually got to know each other, maybe a few years or so? I guess, it doesn't really matter now.

I will always remember all the times we shared, and that of course includes our camwhoring sessions. HAHAHAHA.

We'll be going our own separate ways from now on. And I wish you all the best in everything in the future. Hopefully, we will all remain as good friends, for a lifetime :)

I am feeling so tired and sleepy now and I have the undang class tmrw. 6 hours of plain hell. I think I'm just gonna sleep there to kill time.

Sunway/Taylors open day is this weekend. I shall go for both and have a look :)

vintage much...?

I have absolutely no idea why my dad wants to buy this car. I got the shock of my life when he drove it back home yesterday night. He had this brilliant idea of me driving it to college. omg. Someone pls give me Sunlight Taxi's number?

When I said I didn't like it, he thought of giving it to my bro. He claims that my bro would be able to impress Miss Malaysia with that car. Yeah sure, from the 1970s. Hahahaha.

I don't really mind if he wants to keep it, for collection purposes. But it's definitely not practical for driving. What if it breaks down half way. God knows how old the bloody car is?

--------------

I went to ss2 today. To look at curtains for the new house. And guess what I saw there?

A big fat DUCK!

See it for yourself :)

Glitterati Affair; Cempaka Dsara Prom '08. (Part 2)

As promised, here's the 2nd part.

Prom ended about 11pm. People were leaving, snapping photos and all. Steph and I packed up the gifts and decided to walk up to our room. We were both in our 3 inch heel. And hell, it was damn painful. So, we did something really smart.

While walking past the Reception at the lobby,

we took of our high heels infront of everyone (including the receptionist) and threw it on the floor.

I know damn sakai, but really can't take it any longer. Went up to our room on the 8th floor, dumped our stuff, changed into our flip flops and went down to Long Bar to meet the others. Formal evening wear and flip flops. What a great combination.

Quite a few were downstairs at the bar. Aemilia managed to join us after her work. Then, the drinking started.

Pina Colada and Long Island T.

Steph and I went back up to the rooms to get poker cards for Jun Kit. Went to kacau Rachel on the way up.

.....*rings door bell* Mc Donalds Special Delivary!!!

Yeah, we ended up ordering Mc Donalds and we went back down to Long Bar.

Marsh, Steph, Em and Aemilia, looking SANE.

---------------------

Drank till 1am like that then went back up to the rooms. Okay la, I admit, I needed help cause I couldn't walk in a straight line. You guessed it. I shall not go into the details too much. You shouldn't know too much XD

Em, Steph, Aemilia, Niraj, Chun Foong and I went back to our room and Rachel, HY and Erwan came over to help out. I can't believe it. At that point in time, I could only think of Mc Donalds.

Oh look, they were discussing what to do with us.

*I stole this from Steph's blog. Hehehe.

Changed into our sleeping attire. NOT PAJAMAS, okay? Then, sat on the bed, ate Mc Donalds and watched Norbit. Erwan and all left around 2am. The plan was to get up for breakfast by 10am.

-----------------------

07/12/08 (Sunday)

The messy room.

Steph and I were up by 8.30am. Then, I called Jun Kit to wake up him for breakfast. The 1st thing I did was to pack. Em left for BSC after a while and left a letter for Rach and all. Especially Erwan. Hahahaha.

Shoes everywhere.

10am sharp, we walked over to One U for breakfast. Simply Penang.

the breakfast kaki.

On the way to GSC.

I still remember the aunty talking to Chun Foong in cantonese. Hahahahaha. Saying how he would break the thing.

Anyways, Jun Kit, Erwna, Chun Foong, Steph and I stayed to watch Wild Child. It was funny. Then, we just left after the movie, about 2.30pm I think.

The verdict?
Prom was awesome!

THE END

Glitterati Affair; Cempaka Dsara Prom '08. (Part 1)

o6/12/08 (Saturday); One World Hotel.

I woke up quite early that day. About 10.30 am, I think. Yeah, I should give myself a pat on the head :) Anyways, I went to do my nails at Times Sqaure about 12pm. A little last minute, but I could still manage the time.

Went to Pavilion for the make up and stuff then to the hair dresser near my house. Basically, I have been running around town again, but it was worth it. I got home by 5pm, did some last minute packing and left for One World Hotel.

And hey, I was on time. I was there by 6pm. Called Rachel on the way, but she didn't pick up. I resorted to calling Erwan then. Well apparently, Erwan/Chun Foong (I can't remember) were walking around the hotel room in their boxers. I don't know why.

Thank you my dear Rachel for meeting me at the hotel lobby and helping me with the stuff. We went up to Rachel's room and the guys were just getting ready. Only Chun Foong hasn't showered. Erwan was almost done, except for the tie.

Yee Kan doing him a favour. I know it looks a little wrong XD

Hwee Yin, Marsh and Rach.

Steph came up after a while and handed Erwan and I the camera and the tripod. We went down to the ballroom and passed it to Andrew and walked back up. Mind you, it was a really LONG WALK. To make it worse, I was in my 3 and a half inc heels. wtf.

6.30pm - It was time to get ready. Changed into the dress and went downstairs to the ballroom. On our way downstairs, there was this costume party for some company in the Imperial Ballroom. I saw a Joker, Flinstone, Fairies, Devil and other creatures.

By 7.30pm, most of the people arrived.

Outside the ballroom.

Then, we entered the ballroom and started our dinner. Firdaus then gave his speech to thank all of his friends. I wouldn't call it a proper one tho.

Good stuff I tell you.

Desert, you see Yee Kan attacking the food?

Table 4.

Rachel.

Rina, my date XD

My 479! They were great.

Shake it!, Hot n Cold, Let's Dance and like so many other awesome songs.

The dance floor.

us 4.

again!

Our family. Rina is the man in the family. Right Erwan?

After My 479 performances, the games started. The dancing thing, okay, let's not go through what exactly happen. We all know why. Then, it was Charades. Camwhore and Watching TV. OMG! HAHAHAHA. And finally, the lucky draw.

Kah Fai!

Em, Steph, Ness and Marsh.

Quang!

Jun Kit, the Prom King.

We took a group photo at the end of prom, slightly before 11am. It's with Steph now.

Anyways, congrats to the Smashing Six for winning ' the naughtiest'. You guys earned it for leaving the school with a 'bang'.

The most memorable part:

One, Two, Three......FIRE!!!!!!!

And also to everyone else for winning cutest couple, and the other titles.

Jun Kit, I helped you choose your tie and shirt. So credits to me too on winning Best Dressed! Let's share the Topshop voucher. Okay? :)

I shall continue the 2nd part tmrw. The after party!

seventeen forever.

I am feeling so tired. Couldn't stop yawning the whole day since I left One U. I mean yeah, we only slept for 6 hours. I shall go into the details in the next post. Anyways, I am glad my 20 hour prom program worked out very well.

Okay, a little update on what I have been doing during the past few days.

04/12/08; Thursday.

Went to check out the furnitures for my new house after lunch. Then, about 4pm, I went to meet up with a friend to catch a movie with a friend and bumped into people I didn't expect to see. So much for that.

05/12/08; Friday.

Met up with Rach, Erwan, Steph, Jun Kit and Amirah during lunch at Chilis, One U. Our plan was to check out our ballroom for prom. Well, instead we spent most of our time touring around the hotel looking at our hotel room. From normal bedrooms to connecting rooms to the Peridot Club. Like a bunch of childless kids who has never seen a hotel in their entire life :)

Left One World Hotel around 3.30pm with Jun Kit and we headed to Gardens/Mid Valley. He picked up his CK pants for prom and I tried my luck at Robinsons to find the bloody bag. No luck tho. Had a drink there and we both left about 5 ish.

I decided to go to Pavilion alone and yes, I finally found the bag! Basically I have been mall hopping the whole day.

One U ---> Gardens/ Mid Valley ---> Pavilion
Insane right? Went out for dinner and came back home to pack my bags. That's why I didn't have time to blog.

------------------

Basically, I have been going out with my friends for 6 days out of 7 days. Starting from Dec 1. So now, my mum says I should stay home and pack cause we're shifting at the end of the month. Damn it.

p.s. I shall post about prom tmrw. The before and after. Interesting stuff :)

Okay, so we're all staying over One World hotel. Something tells me, this is going to be one hell of a great night.

So girls, get your dresses, shoes, accessories, makeup and hair done. Guys, just come and show off your expensive tux.

See you guys tonight!

killer prom shopping.

mid valley centre court.

I went to the driving school this morning and get all the registration and crap done. I'm going to go for that 5 hour course thing next saturday. Hell! I would have preferred it this sunday, but we've got prom :) So yeah, tak jadi.

Headed to Mid Valley about 1pm. Met up with Steph and we had quick lunch at Burger King. Planned all the events, games and everything while eating. Chun eh?

After lunch, we stopped by to meet up with Rach and all. Then, we went up to meet Yen Wei, Yeunh and Rahul at the arcade, persuading them to come for prom. Yen Wei's wonderful idea of prom was singlet and slippers at a 5 star hotel. Great.

It was 2pm, it was time to start our shopping spree. We were walking up and down mid valley, walked across to gardens like a million times. Walking in shops after shops, stalls after stalls, getting on and off the escalators. OMG, so hectic.

Some of the sales girl couldn't converse in english so they were speaking mandrin to us. They were staring blankly at us when we asked something in english. Their blur expression was really funny. I finally had a chance to speak mandrin since god knows how long. No wonder it's so cacat now. wtf.

Steph and I went straight on till 5pm and had a drink at Juice Works. Then, we continued shopping at Jusco and Carrefour. Ohh, guess what? Khai Liang was there too. What a small world.

Left Mid Valley by 6pm. I am damn satisfied cause it was a very productive day. We've got almost everything done.

Well, we're still gonna meet again this Friday at One U to finish up and finalise everything before the real day.

----------------------

**Mind you, we weren't shopping for our stuff. It's for all of you guys coming for prom!

We have amazing stuff and awesome programs that day. And also the best emcees in Cempaka History. I guarantee. So yeah, please come for prom. We've all put in alot of effort to make it work :) You're gonna regret if you don't!

Okay people, let's start planning our prom after party since most of us are bunking in One World Hotel. Hehehehehe. How about a late night movie at OU?

... Damn, I still haven't found a handbag and prom is 2 days away!

pop the champagne bottles!

....... I never have to touch any books, ever again!

SPM is finally over! Ohh yeahhhh!!!! Today was the Accounts Paper. I think, I did fine :) At least, I'm safe for one subject. I swear I didn't know there was only 11 of us doing the paper today. And that includes the science students?!

Went out to Pavilion with meiyan, brian, sam and beng hong to watch Twilight. I love the movie sooooo muchhhhh! And of course, EDWARD CULLEN! The hottest vampire alive! I think, meiyan and I fell in love with him by the end of the movie. The story was really romantic. Well of course, you have to know how to appreciate it. It's more or less like a fairy tale. I don't mind watching it again though.

I don't really know what to do from now onwards. Well, this what I have in mind so far;

1) ENROLL for college, differ for NS! (Taylors, here I come!)
2) Drive!
3) Reunions; I've been missing out alot.
4) Visit people at work, bsc!
4) Go for celebrations like christmas eve, new year's eve, aiyooo, whatever la.
5) Go down to Singapore a few days.
6) Mamma Mia!
7) Pack, cause I'm moving outta my house into a new condo!

who wants to come for house warming?

Someone told me to look at the moon tonight. I wondered why. And guess what? It was shaped like a crescent but it looked like a smile :) mhmm.

Okay, can someone please tell me when Taylor's open day is. And I mean Hartamas one. Chun Foong says only Subang's one is open. Anyways, I heard there's an edu fair at PWTC next weekend. Should I go?
