so close that you couldn't see.

I love weekends. All I do is, sleep sleep sleep :) I am a pig who needs to catch up on her sleeping hours. During the weekdays, I suffer from major lack-of-sleep because I'm used to sleeping late. Bad habit, I know, and I am trying to change that.

It's kindda scary when every week just ends like that. Day after day, week after week. For all you know, it might end faster than you know it. It's sad that we have no events going on/ nothing to look forward to. It's quite different from Cempaka. Cause every one month there will be some nonsense to celebrate or some special occasions.

Before I forget, Sarah Tan Yann Jia and Lee Chee Keng are going for the JPA interview next week. This means, they might have to leave college eventually. I hope there won't be goodbyes just as yet. I can't imagine college life without the both of them. Although it's only been a 3 months, but it feels as if we've known each other for ages. It'll still hurt. But anyhow, good luck and all the best :) I know you both would be able to get it.

Anyhow, I met up with Sarah this afternoon for lunch at KLCC. We had Burger King. Can't blame us right, we were starving! Walked over to the Convention Centre for the British Council Edu Fair. And guess who I saw? QUANG! God, I actually miss him. It's been quite some time.

Watched Confessions of A Shopaholic after the exhibition. The movie was really entertaining. And the guy didn't look too bad either. If you need something to cheer you up, watch that movie. It's a good laugh. I actually thought it wouldn't be that great. I guess I was wrong.

So that's about it, I'm going to bed early :)

Somewhere in the Between.

FINALLY, it's the end of the week. Thank god. I can get some rest now.

Class ended slightly before 12.30pm today, as usual. The few of us; Sarah, Alex, Leon, Amos, Jun Kit and I had lunch at KimGary, again. We're all addicted to this Hong Kong drink, "yingyong". It's something like coffee and tea mix. And I'm proud to say that I'm having it for the 3rd time, this week.

Most of us walked back after lunch and just chilled in the library while waiting. I was so tired when I came back home, so I decided to take a nap around 5pm and I woke up after 8pm. wtf.

I find college life really dull nowadays. We have the same classes everyday, see the same teachers, and there are hardly any upcoming events. It's getting boring.

Ohh, my mum just told me my cousin is coming down from Singapore this weekend. Apparently he's performing for Sunburst '09 tmrw. He's in this band called, Sixx. Yes, I shall go meet up with him on Sunday :)

I'm waiting for next weekend to come. We shall all go to Red Box to 'cheong k' and then watch Confessions of a Shopaholic. We deserve that after a whole week of damn tests :) And, I'm also looking forward to our April Holiday. We're thinking of having a class trip, but we'll see about that.

I feel a little sesat these days, for some reason.
Feeling uncertain about things and I just wish I knew what I wanted..

CRASH and BURN.

Last Friday was Rina's Farewell. Had a last minute dinner at Delicious, Bangsar Village. I haven't seen her since last year. Omg. She actually wore heels and a skirt that night.

Thank you Rachel, Steph, Hwee Yin, Katt, Sean, Jun Kit and Erwan for coming :) It felt like old times again. All the jokes and laughter. Ahh, it's been a while.

I still remember the 1st time I met her during Form 2. I actually thought she was a really sweet/nice/innocent girl. Looks are so deceiving.

Come back and visit us during the holidays and not 5 years later, damn it! And you're suppose to start a blog, so please get started now :)

---------

We've finally completed our LAN Unity Song. Stayed back yesterday, practising as a group. Today was show time. Actually, it sounded quite horrible live. I mean, it was kindda nerve wrecking having so many people watching us.

It's so tiring having tests after tests. Chem test (again) and Econs next week. Like wtf. We have tests so often! And it's tough. I think I'm gonna shoot myself :( Results been quite bad. I need to start studying! Sometimes, I really doubt myself. Wondering whether I'd be able to pull this off. A levels, I mean.

Okay, bye.

SPM results day.

CEMPAKA DAMANSARA; CLASS OF 2008!

We are a Legend :)

First of all,

CONGRATULATIONS to all my friends and to all Cempaka Damansarians '08 :)

I slept at 2am the night before watching Gossip Girl so I could stop thinking about SPM. And I automatically woke up at 8.30 am the next day. God knows why..

Reached school about 10.15 am after receiving Rachel's call. She made me freak me out, again. Yeah, thanks. A lot of people were already waiting in the hall. Like a mini reunion :)

Dr Rizal announced the percentage of distinctions which increased from last year. General Science- 100%, Maths- 92% and Add Maths 74%, I think.

Nevermind, that was still bearable. Then, the horror began.... It's a Cempaka tradition by the way. To mentally torture us like this. Pn Farah called out students starting from 4 A's, 5 A's, 6 A's..... And it wasn't in alphabetical order. Random.

I swear I was on the verge of breaking down. People were holding on the each other and praying that their names wouldn't be called 1st. Some looking down and covering their ears. It was so tensed.

Grades after grades, names after names..

And then, the moment I've been waiting for.... my name was finally called...

10 A's!!!

Nine 1A's ; One A2 and One B4.

Moral cacatkan my whole sijil. What a bitch! And I am happy even though I got 2A for BM. I always sucked in BM. I shall send my moral for remarking. Oh, and there's a certificate for Accounting. LCCI or something. I have no idea what that is.

And that was the end of it. Thank god! Went around meeting the teachers and they were really happy for us.

I AM CONTENTED eventhough I didn't score straight A's.

I was really hoping for it. Oh well. But
I am still happy lah, k?

Sean and I had lunch at Bangsar Village after the results. To celebrate :) Bought his new shoes then I went back home.

Went out about 5pm to The Curve. Met up with Sarah, Alex and Ming then we went to Red Box.

And omg, Alex can sing so well! Too bad he had to leave for Charm practice :( He left us with Leon which almost made us 3 go mad.

The Fer. 5 :)

And Sarah!

Left around slightly before 9.30pm after searching for Sarah's credit. From the curve to ikano power centre. Sold out everywhere. Oh well..

p.s. Please take care of your health, Alex Tay Ee Meng. I am warning you! We don't want anything to happen to you, k?

and damn you Amos Khaw! I am not forgiving you for ffk-ing.

Good night!

happy mother's day?

Had college today, as usual. There was a talk today about education in the UK. The lecturers were from UCL, King's University College, London School of Economics and Imperial University College. The few top and reputable universities in the UK. So yeah, they went on about how great their universities are, what great research work they have done, and everything lah. It was like cat fight with a British accent.

Which reminds me. Some pics I took last year at London when I went there for my bro's convocation at UCL last year.

Wicked!!! The Broadway Musical. Ahh, Witches of Oz :(

Bond Street; the shopping district in London.

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE of LONDON

I am so proud of this picture :)

Perfectly candid.

My bro (left) with his lengzai friend.

Anyways, we went to Wok Hei for lunch and got back just in time for the chem test. OMG, it was sooooo hard. I left 2 whole questions blank. And our genius, Chee Keng found it hard too! Chem now is like a 100 times harder than SPMs. Damn Chemical Bonding!!!

After the test, Sarah and I went over to Starbucks for coffee. Met up with Alex and all for a while then walked back to college. Su Wei was so fascinated by the fact I bought Starbucks. So I was explaining to him why I needed it. Chem test was so depressing and I had driving lessons after. So yeah. The few of us ended up bitching about driving instructors. Even Chee Keng! Supposedly, the innocent one.

SPM results
is gonna be out in another 2 days. Honestly, I don't even want my results now. I sense major screw up and it'll be over the stupidest thing. Ahh, whatever. It's so tiring to live up to expectations. So yeah, screw it.

Ohh, my bro mailed a Mother's Day card. My mum got it today. Apparently, it's mother's day at the UK. Hmmm...

Read this:

I shall go to the temple to pray for good luck tmrw. At least, it'll make me feel a little better. Sue me :)

And I am going to defer my National Service tmrw as well. Wish me luck? Otherwise, you'd have to visit me at Kem Pelangi Hill 9 days later.

P/S: Please don't be so paranoid about SPM results, people! It's not healthy! :)

Good night. I want to sleep early.

and it keeps getting better :)

Mhmm.. This week has been good, so far. Interesting stuff like listening to innocent Chee Keng bitch about his driving examiner. HAHAHAHA. Poor boy got corrupted by the ppg.

And we have finally completed our unity song for LAN. It's a really beautiful song. Credits to Alex Tay and Sarah Tan. Yeah, show time in 2 weeks :)

The 5 of us had lunch at Rakuzen with ms leong, our chem teacher on monday. And with ms ida, the math teacher on wednesday, for the 3rd time. Somehow, things aren't really awkward between us and the lecturers. We can talk just about everything and anything to them and they somehow seem to get it. They don't mind all the dirty jokes >.< and the profanity *ehem*. The best part is that, they even join in and make it sound more obscene. Which is the funniest part. So yeah, everything's all good :) mmm... no hard feelings?

The math teacher left for hong kong, so we had free period during math today. 2 long hours of break :) The 6 of us left college and then headed to Desa Sri Hartamas's Burger King. The guys wanted to shisha after lunch, so we WALKED over to Plaza Mont Kiara. It was so pointeless cause lecka lecka didn't have enough people to take care of the shisha stuff.

Alex and Sarah wanted to meet up with Amos at Hartamas Bistro after we got back. For the Food Club thing. Ahh, MORE walking..

Bumped into JJ at HSC while Sarah and I were buying ice-cream :P That was unexpected..

Physics test tmrw, Maths and Chem next week.

Why do we have so many tests!???!!! geez.

Ohh, and the damn escalators in college are finally working now!!! :D
